Tron Legacy and News of Warehouse 13 and Eureka

Recap: Castle
Castel is back! Woo! The show as been on hiatus for over a month, but it’s back! Only minor spoilers, you have to see the awesomeness for yourself. Check Hulu or Fancast for last nights episode: The Mistress Always Spanks Twice.

A graduate student was found dead in her underwear, tied up to monkey bars in a playground, and covered in caramel sauce. Strangely enough, there was no sign of sexual abuse or of her even having sex. It was staged. Further investigation led Castle and Beckett to a BDSM ‘dungeon’ and the girl wasn’t just observing a mistress for her thesis, she was the mistress.

“Remember my safe word is ‘apples’”

Oh and we finally meet Ryan’s girlfriend. She is a hottie!

Bad news now, the next episode is not until 2 weeks why didn’t they start up the series then? Anyway it looks like a serial killer is on the loose and his next target is Beckett.

First Look:
The classic movie Tron has spawned a new film, Tron Legacy. This new movie isn’t a remake, it’s a sequel, one I’m sure will be self-explained considering the gap in between. Anyway, a full trailer has been released and it looks amazing!!! Take a look:

Oh and you can download the trailer for yourself thanks to Flynn Lives and thanks to io9.com for posting the link. Tron Legacy comes out December 17, 2010.

Coming Summer to a TV Near You:
Both Warehouse 13 and Eureka got picked up for new seasons. Woo!! Since Syfy has comically changed its name, it seems many shows have been left forgotten. Eureka was missing the conclusion to season 3, hence the mini-season 3.141592... They also have forgotten their off-season format of half a season in the summer and half a season in the winter. Instead, I believe they will air the entire season of Warehouse 13 and Eureka this summer. That's just a guess, however, not confirmed.

So Warehouse 13 will return with season 2 on July 13th… Very funny Syfy. Admittedly though it will be easy to remember. And Eureka is currently shooting its fourth season and will return July 10th. Guess what I’ll be doing that week. Cheers.

Rant: Why I Won’t See Toy Story 3
I have seen every Pixar movie to date, and while I didn’t love them all, they are all really good films. I’ve seen many of the films opening weekend and I am excited for whatever future Pixar movies come our way. But I’m not going to see Toy Story 3

I liked both prequels, liking Toy Story 2 better than the original Toy Story. I liked the second better because I felt like Woody was a jerk in the first movie, not wanting to recognize that Andy has a new favorite…co-favorite. He learns to be friends with Buzz by the end, but the whole first movie, Woody’s actions are defined by Jealousy and then Remorse.

I will admit that I sometimes pretend my old childhood toys come to life while I’m away, but that doesn’t mean I’ll see the third installment. To me, the story has ended at Toy Story 2. I have moved on since then and have no interest in seeing more. I will however be more than glad to see The Incredibles 2, however… as soon as they make it.
