Catch Up

Yeah, so I've been really busy and I have a bit of rumors and news to dish out.

Doctor Who:
So Doctor who has been airing in the UK. It's set to air this Saturday on BBC America. But like a lot of people I don't care to wait the two weeks and I don't have BBC America. So I've been watching it online. The first two episodes have been pretty good. A surprising lack of death, but that's good. No one has died in the last two episodes and it's a relief. There was so much death in the last season. The tenth doctor was really angst-y and he had a right to be. People kept dying around him. I'm liking this new Doctor.

Supernatural:
Supernatural's 100th episode is this Thursday. It looks like Dean is wavering really close to saying yes. Castiel gets pissed at him:

I really liked this show season 1 and 2, but it started to get really depressing so I stopped watching at season 3. I got back into the show because a lot of my friends are. I'm hoping the apocalypse will end soon. And I keep thinking of this video when I think of the apocalypse:

What? It's the Apocalypse!

Green Lantern:
It sounds like the Green Lantern's costume will be CGI-ed. That's why there aren't any pictures. So here's the concept photo. It'll have to do for now.

Fringe:
Rumors are that there is going to be a musical episode. WTF!! This isn't Buffy or Scrubs, this is a for serious show. Having a musical episode makes NO sense.

Captain America:
I don't really know the story much. I never really got into comics myself. Never like much of the illustrations, women always have gigantic boobs and actually look ugly and men are all overly muscular. That doesn't mean I won't go see the movie though. Anyhow, the movie will be showing a severely underweight Steve Rodgers before he gets transformed into Captain America and both will be played by Chris Evans. How he'll be playing a really underweight guy, I don't know. I smell CGI. Anyway, that's it on the Captain America news...for now.

Review: Date Night
So I saw Date Night this past weekend. It was really good. Tina Fey And Steve Carell were a great team. This movie would have sucked without the two of them together. For those of you who don't know the plot, the movie is about a married couple with children. They go to a friends house and find that their friends are getting a divorce. Afraid that their marriage is getting too boaring, they decide to go out to the city one night to a really nice restaurant. Only, they can't get a table at the restaurant and decide to take someone's reservation when they fail to show up. So basically it's North by Northwest but with a corrupt DA and cops instead of spooks. It was a great movie.
