Doctor!!

Bones:
I meant to talk about it on Friday, but I never got around to it. It's been a crazy weekend. Anyway, last week's episode, Wendell finds out about the pregnancy scare. And Angela realizes that, yes, Wendell would "do the right thing" but it would be more of a duty, where as Hoddgins was "her guy". He would volunteer, even if it wasn't his kid. Angela's relationships are really wacky. She breaks up with people for some of the silliest reasons, but in this case I'm all for it. It looks like Hoddgins and Angela might get back together... I hope so. At least there would would be one constant inter-work relationship. Especially since Booth is "moving on." I gotta admit, sometimes Brennan does piss me off. Booth and the rest of the "squints" smooth her out, so if the writers don't want to mess with the Booth-Brennan relationship, great.

Doctor Who:
Episode three of the show aired Saturday in the UK (or here). And episode one aired on BBCAmerica on Saturday. I don't want to ruin it for people who haven't seen it yet, but just to note: less death, and the Daleks are making a comeback so there will be a splash of dark again. But hopefully not too much dark. Those hopes were dashed a bit when I found out this afternoon that Russel T. Davis will be writing a few episodes. I'm a bit worried about that, I don't like all the death and despair that series 4 had.

Season Review: Human Target
Well, apparently, last week's episode was the season finally. NO Like! I'm worried it's not going to get picked up for a second season. It was a good show, but it was cheezy. It was definitely lacking something. It's like it was filmed a couple years ago. Even the stunts seemed to show their age. The motorcycle stunt scene in the episode where he infiltrates an embassy, was totally fake. There was also another scene where the CGI was completely obvious. Yeah, my comments thus far haven't been that favorable, but even though it was predictable and a little too easy to follow, it was still a good show. It was a simple action show. We haven't had one in a while (and no, I'm not counting 24 in this category). Speaking of which, 24 got the axe, that doesn't bode well for Human Target... and I want to know what happened with Winston. Who knows, though, I could be wrong. Sanctuary got a second season.

Riverworld:
Sunday night Syfy aired a four hour movie, Riverworld. I still don't know if I like it. It's explanation for why everyone speaks English is dumb. It would have been easier if they just said, everyone can understand everyone, not everyone's brains are hard-wired for English. Also, the good guy, the story's hero, didn't actually accomplish anything. And he admitted it. The observers were just useless, using people as pawns. Oh, and even better, the movie ended on a cliff hanger. The ending was left wide open. I don't think It'll get picked up for a tv show. We'll see.
