Don't Blink!

I can't recap Bones, Fringe, or Supernatural because I haven't seen it yet. This week has been crazy. Anyway, here is some news.

Castle:
Last Monday's Castle dealt with a robbery in a bank. Only a safe deposit box was opened and then one of the thiefs turns up dead. That's why Homicide is working with Detective Tom Demming who works on thefts. The murder investigation leads to a dead cop who was thought to have been a dirty cop. He was also Esposito's old partner. Esposito's old partner was framed by another dirty cop on a mob boss' books. The ledger was supposed to be in the safe deposit box, but wasn't. A full-in-depth recap is available here. What I really wanted to discuss was that there was definately some chemistry between Beckett and Demming. Demming even asks Castle if was anything between Castle and Beckett. Castle says no, but after seeing Beckett and Demming together, he realizes that he actually does like Beckett. We'll see how this progresses, but not next week. Next Monday's episode is a repeat.

Doctor Who:
The angels from "Blink" are back in episodes 4&5 (yes it's a two part episode). It looks like its going to be scary. The Doctor also gets some lessons on how to properly fly the TARDIS:


The Phantom:
Syfy has created a tv show about the Phantom. It's a complete reboot and modernization of the story. I believe it was originally a comic that was turned into a really cheezy art deco movie (with Billy Zane and Catherine Zeta-Jones). Now it will be a tv series. The four hour premier starts Sunday, June 20th at 7pm. Here is the trailer:

My favorite part is when he rejects the old, skin-tight costume. Thank goodness they updated the costume as well.

Green Lantern:

Star Trek:
"Zoe Saldana — who, it must be stressed, still knows just as much as the rest of us about what happens in the sequel — says she thinks that the destruction of Vulcan will complicate things for Uhura's romance with Spock. Can Spock mate with a human, when he only goes into pon farr every seven years? Should he be trying to mate with pure Vulcans instead, to perpetuate the species? (Spock, obviously, being half-human already.) These are questions that'll have to be considered." [io9 spoiler][MTV] I just hope that it comes out soon. I really liked the first movie and usually they jump on the sequel right away.
