Human Target This!

Resident Evil Afterlife:
So, there IS a trailer. Silly me. It looks quite good. We get a glimpse at twice the Alice action (she does have a crap ton of clones) and Clair has some really cool fight sequences too.

Looks like the movie will be in 3D. Don't really care about that, but the movie looks cool.

Avengers:
Joss Whedon will be directing the movie. Kinda excited. I loved the Firefly series and of course Dr. Horrible's Sing along Blog, but I wasn't a fan of Dollhouse or Buffy. To be fair, I don't know how much he actually got to direct. Yes, he created all these great series, but how much did he direct? Having his flair may be a good thing to the comic book to movie world. There is much debate about that, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Iron Man 2:
Oliva Munn (Attack of the Show) has a cameo in Iron Man 2. She had to go back in for reshoots as an entirely different character. Rumor is she will play Janet Van Dyne aka the Wasp. We'll find out May 7th.

Human Target Recap:
We finally are getting the hole picture... well almost. The whole season they have been blatantly hinting that he wasn't always the good guy and that he changed his life over a girl. Well we saw that in last nights episode. We see his former boss, we see the girl, Catherine, we also see Lassie... jk. The actor who plays the bad guy plays Carlton Lassiter in Psych. I'm forever going to think of him as Lassie just like I think the guy who plays Neal Caffery in White Collar is Brice Larkin (Chuck). Although in fairness he is starting to become Neal to me now.

Anyway, last night we saw Catherin and we also see the boat she was on explode. I'm not convinced she's dead though. I smell a return. Winston hid the book, he may have hid the girl away. I guess we'll find out next week when they try to get Winston back. Oh and last, but not least, we also find out the origin of Christopher Chance. Yeup, Can't wait for next week's episode.

Spider-man:
So this movie has made lots of news. Spiderman 4 has been cancelled and now they are thinking of doing a reboot of the first movie. Really? Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The lightning Thief) was rumored to play Peter Parker. That has been proven false. Now Josh Hutcherson (Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant) is in the running. We'll see.

BioShock Movie:
I heard rumors a while ago, before the second game came out, that there was a movie in the works. The movie has been cancelled. I'm kinda glad. I think the movie would be a bad idea, especially since Hollywood doesn't seem to like the idea of using the game's script or using the original game's writing staff. If the video game companies started to produce their own movies, I bet movies based of video games would be good. I don't think I've seen a single movie based on a video game that was actually good. The reverse is the same of course. Why is that?

I guess that's it for now. I'll recap Bones tomorrow a bit. I want to discuss some work-relationship stuff, but I don't want to ruin it for people who haven't seen it yet. I may also discuss Supernatural. Peace!
