Catch up...

So Finals are over and Summer break can officially start!!!

Doctor Who Recap (spoilers):
Last Saturday's episode was quite tripy. We start out a few years later and Amy and her husband are expecting a baby. Then comes the doctor who "accidently" found Amy again after leaving her back home. They all take a walk through the streets to catch up and fall asleep on a park bench. They wake up in the Tardis. Alarms are going off and they find out that they had the exactly same dream. You'll need to watch this bit for sure, it's funny. The doctor called it a nightmare. :-). The Doctor gets distracted though, because the Tardis is freaking out. They are interrupted by the sound of birds and instantly fall asleep. I'm not going into too much more detail, there was a lot in this episode, so I'll just cover the main points. The second time they wake up in the Tardis, the Tardis shuts down and a man calling himself the Dream Lord tells them that one of the worlds is real and the other is the dream, but they will face life threatening problems while they try and figure out which is real and which is the dream. Nightingales again and they fall asleep. The problem in the town is that all the old people are actually aliens intent on turning everyone to dust. And in the Tardis, the ship is about to crash into a cold-burning star. So it begins. As I was watching the show I was wondering why it was called Amy's Choice. Then I realized the town was her Fiance's (Rory?) dream world and the Tardis was the Doctor's dream world. The Dream Lord does set her aside to discuss who she would choose, the Doctor or Rory. The choice became easy when one of the aliens in the town kills Rory. They all wake up in the frozen Tardis and the Dream Lord congratulates Amy on making the "right choice". The Doctor isn't convinced, he blows up the Tardis because he know who the Dream Lord is and knew that both were dreams. The Dream Lord being the Doctor is very interesting. It shows us how much self loathing he has. This could be an interesting development if it happens again.

Doctor Who News (No Spoilers):
Season 6 is a go. Niel Gaiman will be writing a couple episodes in the beginning. I'm excited, I love his stuff. Amy will return, also good. And I recently heard that a distant relative is supposed to pop up. Maybe it's Susan Freeman (the Doctor's Granddaughter from Series 1 in 1963) That would be interesting. Or maybe it's his "daughter" from the episode (who's title escapes me) in Season 4. We'll see.

Supernatural (Spoilers):
Supernatural's season finished Thursday. And the averted the apocalypse! Wooo! Sam jumped in the pit and pulled Adam with Michael inside as well. Dean promised Sam that he would live his life, so he goes back to... the girl who's name I can't remember. What really blew my mind was Chuck turned out to be god! That was awesome and a complete surprise, well done SN writers!

Now there is definitely going to be a season 6. I don't have any news yet on what exactly is in store, but pretty much, averting the apocalypse gave the writers a blank slate.

Eureka and Warehouse 13:
There will be two episodes of cross overs. Woo!!

"In the episodes, which are currently filming, Douglas Fargo (Neil Grayston) of Eureka's Global Dynamics is sent to Warehouse 13 to help update its aging computer system. This triggers a seemingly sentient computer virus that sends the Warehouse into lockdown and traps the team inside. The Warehouse 13 episode is entitled "13.1" and will air on Tuesday, August 3, at 9PM (ET/PT).

The Eureka episode entitled "Crossing Over," will air on Friday, August 6, at 9PM (ET/PT). Warehouse 13's Claudia Donovan (Allison Scagliotti) pays a visit to Eureka, hoping to see some amazing technological wonders. She gets more than she bargained for when seemingly random objects begin appearing around town. Working with Sheriff Carter (Colin Ferguson) and Fargo, Claudia has to help solve the mystery before the strange anomalies have deadly consequences...particularly for newcomer Dr. Grant (James Callis)."
