Wednesday with update!!

Red:
I just saw this trailer for Red. A movie about a retired CIA agent who has to try to adjust to the retired life. He comes across a bunch of other retired agents as well. Something happens (the trailer doesn't explain what) and then the CIA finds them all to dangerous and puts hits out on all of them. The cast is amazing: Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, and John Malkovich. The movie is based on a mini-series comic written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Cully Hamner. Here is the trailer:

Twilight Saga: Eclipse:
So, yeah, I'm going to see the movie. Don't judge me. Anyway, here is some hope that the movie will actually be good: Eclipse was probably the best book in the series and the director is David Slade, the guy who directed 30 days of Night. io9.com interviewed him. David Slade on bringing the violence back to twilight.

Eclipse Review:
I went to the midnight showing. And I probably shouldn't have, but that's not the point. Of the three twilight movies, this was the best. I like how the director made it scary, almost gruesome if these vampire incarnations bled. There were some pretty awesome vampire deaths in the final battle. I'll skip the plot points because I assume everybody read the book and the movie was spot on. There were a few moments, however I was thinking to myself, God this sounds so lame out loud. There were definitely some awkward turtle moments. The wolves were awesome, bigger than I imagined, but awesome none the less. To wrap it up, the direction was great, movie was great, acting was ehhh and story was ehh. If you're a fan of the books, I definitely recommend seeing the movie, otherwise, don't. Twilight gets sparkling three out of five.
