Rumors Galore:
-Chuck: Filming is well under way. It looks like Sarah won't have to worry about a cover anymore now that everyone in Chuck's life knows the truth. I wonder if she'll come clean to Chuck about her real name, he knows it, but it would still be nice if she leveled with him.
-Eureka: Will Wheaton will return in future episodes, reprising the same character as in All the Rage. It's amazing how many jobs Wheaton has got because he's Will Wheaton. Awesome.
-Scott Pilgrim vs the Animation: Thursday August 12 (the day before the movie comes out) from 12-12:30 on adult swim during the breaks, we'll get to see Scott in high school years, the flash back that starts off volume 3: Scott Pilgrim vs the world.
Recaps:
Eureka: The season is getting interesting. At first I was hesitant at the whole alternate time line thing, but I like the new guy "Dr. Old Spice" and I was really sad the Joe and Zane weren't together, but this last episode shows Joe giving Zane a second chance and Zane is grateful... well as grateful as he'll get. No one has stuck is neck out for him. We also finally see Fargo is actually capable of being head of GD. He's not a trouble maker any more and it's refreshing. Next episode will be the second cross-over episode where Claudia will be going to Eureka. Awesome.
Warehouse 13: Last night was the first cross-over episode. Fargo gets forced by Ms. Fredrick to go to Warehouse 13 to upgrade the computers, but problems arise when an existing system kicks on. And much like the plot of Wargames, takes over the warehouse and does everything it can to preserve itself. It turns out the software's creator put half is brain in the computer, i'm sure he meant to just copy, but he ended up transferring half is brain, the left, logical side of course. So Pete and Mika track down the scientist and Arty, Claudia and Fargo get trapped in the warehouse. Arty convinces the computer that it needs a whole brain to be effective and the computer lets the crazy scientist it the transfer the rest of his brain. But that's not the warehouse way. While Hugo1 is busy, Claudia hacks in and takes control and then Arty referses the dice, putting the whole brain back in the scientist. Yey! Oh and Todd broke it off with Claudia. Hopefully that isn't permanent.
Opening this weekend:
The Other Guys: This movie looks like it can be really good or really bad. I'll wait for DVD though.
After one screw-up too many, NYPD Detective Terry Hoitz is stuck behind a desk with forensic accountant Allen Gamble as his partner. They don't get to see real action like the department's supercops, Danson and Highsmith. Then the mismatched pair stumbles upon a big case, and it's time to get out of the office and hit the streets. They may not be the toughest cops, or the smartest, or the bravest, but they do still have guns, so watch out!Step Up 3D: Another step-up dance movie. This time they bought into the 3D gimick. I'm not interested in seeing the movie, but if you're into dance movies, you might want to consider this one.
Moose is a freshman at New York University who befriends street dancers Luke and Natalie. Moose is invited to join their "house," a multicultural dance crew. Together, they're going to compete in the first ever International World Jam, where they will battle with the top houses from Italy, Japan, Australia, and other far-off lands. If they are going to prove themselves to be the best hip-hop dancers in the world, they will have to step in one particular direction (SPOILER ALERT: It's up). That's all I have now.
