No excuse

Yeah... moving happened and my now everything is finally over. This post is more than 2 weeks over due, I know, but I have a valid excuse.

Movie Review: Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
OMG This movie was awesome. It met all my expectations and was hilarious. It had to cram six books in to one movie so there was some changing. A lot of book six was skipped over, probably because the book wasn't out when the script was written. At first I thought the movie was going to end differently, but no. It ended very similarly to the books and was awesome. The final battle was even more epic and I like the way the last life was used in the movie over the books. It was more game like. I don't want to say much more because YOU ALL HAVE TO SEE THE MOVIE. /subliminal messaging.... Scott Pilgrim vs the World gets five epic stars.

Warehouse 13:
There have been 2 or 3 episodes since my last post... I can't remember, so I'll just cover them all here. 13.1 was awesome, it was the Eureka-Warehouse 13 crossover part one. And now I remember covering this. Around the bend, to be honest I didn't see the ending, I should probably watch the last five minutes just to find everything out. I wasn't a fan of that type of storyline. The first episode was great, there was all this intrigue with secret meetings with Ms. Frederick. I liked the first half, but there was definitely a moment I was thinking, 'I bet you it's all in his head'. And low and behold, my suspicions were confirmed when the waitress gave him weird looks. I didn't want to see Peter get himself into trouble with the Regent because he was under the effects of an artifact. The one thing i did like is that the show showed us the normal person's point of view when Peter was hallucination. He was making out with the air! It was awesome. Shows and movies typically don't show that and I always wonder what it looks like to a sane person. Thanks Warehouse 13 writers. And last Tuesday's episode: For the Team. I missed part of the beginning so I don't know why Peter was benched, I'm assuming it was because of the previous episode. Anyway, Claudia and Myka are on the search for an artifact and they run into HG Wells. She helps them out a lot, in a good way, making us question why she was bronzed in the first place and wondering if current actions can outweigh the bad. Artie has to get his appendix out... again apparently. He has a crush on the Warehouse doctor and keeps making excuses for him to see her. In the end he asks her out. yey!  And Peter goes on the date with the Vet. Getting past all the pickering, they could be a really fun couple.

Eureka:
The Eureka episode with Claudia was good. I like how they decided to use the "goo" to try and save "doctor old spice". It didn't work, but they tried it anyway. The smoking patch ended up saving his life (thank you for smoking anyone?). In the next episode, all the AI around town develops emotions. Tiny breaks loose and goes after the robot from Kevin's class, because it's its mommy. Yikes! And Henry told his "wife" the truth. I think it was the best move. He didn't feel right with having a romantic relationship with her because he doesn't know her. Which is good, but I really hope they work it out. Also, Zane was helping Allison out while she was acting director of GD. I thought that was interesting because he starting to get "tamed".

Opening today:
Nanny McPhee Returns:
I liked the original so I'm definitely interested in seeing this one sometime. From the trailers though, I don't think the kids are that mischievous. We'll find out later. Synopsis from IMDB.com:
Nanny McPhee arrives to help a harried young mother who is trying to run the family farm while her husband is away at war, though she uses her magic to teach the woman's children and their two spoiled cousins five new lessons.
Piranha 3D:
Really! Really! WTF? It looks like a mindless gore fest and I'm definitely not interested. Here is the synopsis anyway in case you want to.. I don't know... form you own opinion.
After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area's new razor-toothed residents.
The Switch:
This movie sounds interesting. I'm trying to decide If I'd be mad at that character for hijacking my sperm. I don't know. It looks like it has potential to be funny, but I'll wait for DVD. Does Jennifer Aniston know how to play any other character?
An unmarried 40-year-old woman turns to a turkey baster in order to become pregnant. Seven years later, she reunites with her best friend, who has been living with a secret: he replaced her preferred sperm sample with his own.
