Movie Mania

I'm a day late, sorry. Anyway, there has been a lot of developments in moves and there are a lot out I'm dying to see. This is going to be a long post, So I'll give a brief synopsis on some movies currently in theaters.

In Theaters:
Hanna:
The movie is about a girl who was trained by a rouge CIA agent to be an assassin. She was trained to specificly kill Merissa Vegler. She was probably created and that's part of the reason they are after her. It looks interesting and the score sounds amazing. That's what you get when you get the Chemical Brothers to do your score. Here is the trailer:

Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a 71%.

Limitless:
A failed writer finds a way to increase his brain power by taking a risky drug. He quickly finishes his book, makes a lot of money in the stock market, and gets the attention of some dangerous people.

Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a 69%.

Paul:
Two guys on a road trip trying to see all the alien hotspots don't plan on running across an actual alien. Except the alien is being hunted down by the government. This movie starts one of my favorite comedy duos: Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. It also has Seth Rogen as the voice of Paul and Jason Bateman as one of the men in black. It looks hilarious.

Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a 72%.

Source Code:
Captain Colter Stevens wakes up on a train and finds out he's someone else, Sean. He's in the source code where he can jump into someone in the last 8 minutes of their life. His goal is to find out who bombed the train, but he falls for Christina and tries to save her. This was directed by Duncan Jones, the director of Moon.

Rotten Tomatoes gave the movie a 90%.

Coming Soon:
Dylan Dog: Dead of Night
A living person is in charge of keeping the undead in check in Louisiana. It looks interesting. It stars Brendon Routh who I think will to a good job. Sam Huntington from Being Human is in this as well as a zombie. Anyway, here is the trailer:

Opens April 29th.

The Woman in Black
I just saw a trailer for The Woman in Black. It starts Daniel Radcliff and looks very scary. Here is the first trailer:

Just for awesome:
Correction: Portal 2 is coming out April 19th. Valve has released a short comic with a little back story. It's a very interesting read and includes a talking companion cube.

OMG so much news!

I know its been forever... and I'm sorry, but here is so much to go over now!!

New Seasons of Eureka, Warehouse 13, White Collar, Burn Notice, Fringe and Covert Affairs are on the way so don't you worry. But first here is the scoop on a new show.

Breaking In:
The show is about a group of security experts who break into places to improve their security. That brief explanation doesn't do it justice. Here is a clip:

Quickly, Christian Slater looks perfect for the role; That's the kid from Reaper; Yes Lex Luthor from Smallville is in this; And yes, it's in a half-hour sitcom format. This sounds really interesting. The show airs this Wednesday, April 6th at 9:30 on Fox.

Warehouse 13:
After last season's cliff hanger lots of fans (and mainly me) are worried about what will happen with Myka. She was in the Christmas episode, but that episode happened before the season finale. What I do know is that she'll definitely be gone in the beginning and Aaron Ashmore will be playing Steve Jinks (really?), Pete's new partner.

Burn Notice:
There will be another season. Woo! I was worried at the beginning of this last season because I didn't like the fact that he kept lying to Jessie. He had to though, I get it. He accidentally got Jessie burned. But the writers wrapped everything up nicely by the end of the season. Now the news I really have is that there is a USA TV movie airing on USA on April 17th that goes into Sam's Backstory. More importantly, the Fall of Sam Axe. Here is a clip.

The Listener:
Yey, the show got a new season, boo the show chose to go in a completely different direction. Charlie was killed off, but I was okay with that so long as they didn't lose his psychologist friend, which they did. Grrr. the show doesn't have an overall story arc which is weird. Toby doesn't get those near preminitins any more and his gift doesn't seem to way him down anymore. He really should continue struggling with turning it off and such. I'm going to continue to watch the show to see it picks up, but so far I doubt the show will survive the season. Also it seems like this show is now making up for the fact that they had to hide their Canadian pride in season one. That being said, is her an IIB?

Portal 2:
I know I don't cover games much, but I hope to change that. I'm stoked for Portal 2 coming out April 18th. Here is a cool preview clip from PAX east with the games opening and some more clips about repulsion and propulsion gel. (the good stuff starts about 2 minutes in)
I'm also really excited for two player mode. :-)

I'll cover lots of movie news in my post this Friday. I just wanted to share the love and mention that I'm BACK!
